One of Powerlink's key drivers is to become the renewable energy super grid and we need your help to develop optimised design solutions to decarbonise the QLD electricity market.
If you are experienced in coordinating design of HV substations and transmission lines including connecting renewable projects to the National Electricity Market, then we want to hear from you.
**About the role**:
We currently have career opportunities for experienced design managers. You will coordinate design delivery across multiple design disciplines for High Voltage substation and transmission line projects. Your design projects will support capital works and HV customer connections.
This will include renewable connection projects for solar, Battery Storage and Windfarm connection to our Powerlink network.
You will coordinate the delivery from and for:
- internal multidisciplinary design teams, as well as
- manage external designs and customer interface and
- commercial and technical aspects associated with these designs.
**About you**:
You will have the demonstrated ability to successfully manage the efficient delivery of multiple design disciplines. This to ensure field maintenance, refurbishment and capital work is planned, managed and delivered to time, budget and quality requirements for our HV transmission network.
You will need the passion and energy to drive design solution and deliver agreed design outcomes. You will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders simultaneously for multiple complex transmission projects.
You will have relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, design or an allied discipline supported by demonstrated knowledge and experience in electrical and civil design, ideally in high voltage substations, transmission lines or telecommunications design and technologies.
