Health and Security Specialist
This role plays a vital part in ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. As a Health and Security Specialist, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary care team that delivers patient-centred care to diverse populations.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with general ward duties under the guidance of clinical staff.
* Porter patients within the facility or campus as directed.
* Undertake cleaning duties as required to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
* Perform security duties as directed by clinical staff to ensure a safe working environment.
This is a dynamic and varied role that requires strong communication skills, physical stamina, and a willingness to work independently or as part of a team.
Selection Criteria
* Hold a current NSW Security Licence (Class 1A minimum).
* Have a nationally recognised training first aid certificate.
* Be able to maintain a valid first aid certificate and security licence.
* Have knowledge of person-centred care principles.
* Have experience working with diverse populations and conflict resolution skills.
