We are currently looking to expand our PT team to cater for our rapidly growing member base in Fitness First Balaclava.
Fitness First Balaclava (formerly Fitness First St Kilda) has been a part of the local community for over 20 years offering state-of-the-art gym facilities, a variety of innovative services and a safe space for the locals to stay active, fit and healthy.
By joining our PT team in Fitness First Balaclava, you will have the opportunity to connect with over 3,300 members (expected to grow to 4,000 in 2026/27) to build your clientele and make a real impact on our members' lives. If you're a passionate and highly motivated fitness and you are ready to bring your energy and expertise to help build a fitness community, we'd love to hear from you.
Previous work experience in the fitness industry is not necessary. Whether you are brand new to the fitness industry, or you are an experienced trainer, we will give you the ongoing support to help you do what you love to do.
What are we looking for:
* Cert 4 in Fitness qualification
* Previous experience in the fitness industry can be an advantage but not essential
* Ability to deliver excellent customer service
* Team player
* Can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills and explore new opportunities
If you're not Cert 3 / 4 in Fitness qualified, we can work with our Industry partners to help you gain the necessary qualification to get you started as a PT.

Job Type: Subcontract
Pay: $85.00 – $125.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 38 per week
