About the role
NSW Public Works (NSW PW) is part of the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development and supports local and state government agencies to deliver critical infrastructure initiatives by providing expert advisory, planning, design, delivery and support services.
We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Assistant to provide strategic executive and business administration support to the Director, Construction Procurement & Emergency Management. This role is temporary for 2 years and based in Newcastle. This role ensures the effective operation of the office and optimal use of the Director's time and resources.
Beyond traditional support, this role assists with business development and client engagement as well as communications, marketing and operational efficiencies. Your ability to anticipate needs, manage priorities, and streamline executive functions will be key to success.
