The Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Project Manager within our Air Combat and Electronic Attack (ACEA) Program team at RAAF Amberley. Embedded within the Change Team - your mission will be to manage projects to enhance the capabilities of Defence's F/A-18 Super Hornet and EA-18 Growler Fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
* Embodied in this role is the responsibility and accountability for ensuring that all project goals are achieved, all customer expectations are met or exceeded.
* Responsible for maintaining and improving customer/client satisfaction.
* Responsible for planning, control and reporting of projects.
* Project risk and issue management.
* Coordination of project deliverables as per requirements.
* Provide key communication and stakeholder management for assigned projects.
The Person:
* Tertiary Qualification in Project Management or equivalent
* Demonstrated skills in financial cost control utilising earned value principle
* Proven understanding of the defence environment - with a minimum of 8 years in Project Management and / or engineering on Defence sustainment support projects
* Proven high standard of written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence security clearance
* Proven in-depth experience mentoring multidisciplinary teams, to include organising, prioritising, and scheduling work assignments.
