Full time permanent work – Based in Middle Swan. Join us as a Maintenance Supervisor at Midland Brick. The Maintenance Supervisor will be directly responsible for the mechanical maintenance of the plant.
Responsibilities
* Facilitating mechanical maintenance of production equipment
* Prioritising mechanical resources to achieve production and maintenance goals
* Ensuring breakdown and maintenance logs are recorded
* Enable the training and development of fitters, boilermakers, and apprentices
* Engaging and managing external contractors to meet the project and maintenance objectives
* Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and safe work practices
Skills and Experience
* Experience in similar supervisory roles
* Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker Qualification (highly desirable)
* Demonstrated experience with manufacturing and machinery and plant equipment
* Demonstrated experience with extrusion and brickmaking equipment (highly desirable)
* Strong experience in safety leadership
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* Strong organisational and time management skills
