Driving a concrete agitator truck for Heidelberg Materials is more than just going from A to B and back again. Our Agitator drivers and Batchers provide high levels of customer service to our clients receiving our products, becoming the face of our business. As a Driver/Batcher, you will be making multiple deliveries throughout the day, operating the batch plant, and interacting with lots of different people. Every day will be different, there's nothing routine about this role!
About the role
* Rates: $35.74ph plus penalties (rate ×1.5 after 8 hours, rate ×2.0 after 10 hours).
* Location: Great Southern, Albany Concrete Plant.
* Typical shift: 7am‐3pm, up to more than 10 hours per day, ~50–55 hours per week.
* Roles include driving an Agi, customer service interactions, operating the batch plant, route mapping and load tracking.
* All new starters complete a 10‐day training program.
About you
* Minimum of HR license (essential) with previous driving experience (preferred).
* Enjoy meeting people and engaging in conversation on site.
* Prefer variety in work; no two days are the same.
* Take pride in the appearance of your truck and maintain cleanliness.
* Able to pass a pre‐employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing (random testing is conducted on all sites).
