We’d love to hear from North East Victorian engineers seeking flexible working arrangements who live within approximately 100KM of Wodonga and have a full driver's licence.
? The Opportunity
We’re seeking a well-rounded Project Manager / Civil Engineer to work closely with our Wodonga Associate across all aspects of engineering design, drafting, project delivery and client coordination.
This role also offers opportunities to expand into business development, client relationship management, and broader project leadership.
? What You’ll Be Doing
Project Oversight & Coordination
- Oversee civil construction for subdivisions including site preparation, drainage, earthworks and utilities.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance.
- Manage workflows, schedules and risk mitigation activities.
- Monitor contractor performance to ensure project requirements are met.
- Handle contractor claims, progress certifications and project documentation.
Design Coordination & Compliance
- Work with design engineers and drafters to ensure construction aligns with approved plans.
- Assist with authority applications, approvals and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain permits, records and compliance documentation.
- Liaise with clients, consultants and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Ensure health, safety and environmental standards are met.
? About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- 5+ years of industry experience.
- Proficiency in software such as 12D, Civil 3D, MUSIC, AutoCAD.
- Solid understanding of construction standards, authority requirements and contracts.
- Current driver’s licence.
- A proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, hands-on environment.
