About the Clinic
Lincoln Veterinary Centre has been proudly caring for the Port Lincoln community and their pets for many years. We're a busy, well‐established clinic with a close‐knit team of 5 Veterinarians and 7 Nurses and 3 Receptionists, delivering high‐quality small animal care across medicine, surgery, diagnostics, and preventative health.
Our clinic is exceptionally well equipped, with full in‐house IDEXX laboratory capability, digital radiography including dental imaging, and a broad surgical caseload that includes complex soft tissue procedures and orthopaedics. We're known for our collaborative culture, supportive learning environment, and commitment to gold‐standard patient care.
About the Role
We're seeking a Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a part‐time or full‐time basis. This is a hands‐on, varied role ideal for a nurse who enjoys working across all areas of the clinic and being part of a team that values knowledge‐sharing, quality care, and genuine support.
What you'll be doing:
* Supporting veterinarians across anaesthesia, surgery, and patient care
* Surgical admissions, preparation, and theatre support
* Anaesthetic monitoring and post‐operative care
* In‐patient and out‐patient nursing care
* Client education, including puppy classes
* Blood collection and IV catheter placement
* Rotating across hospital, surgery, consulting, and reception duties
* Assisting with a diverse and interesting caseload, including orthopaedics and advanced soft tissue surgery
What We're Looking For
* A Veterinary Nursing qualification (Certificate IV or equivalent)
* Comfortable working with clinic systems and IT
* A strong understanding of high standards of patient care
* Excellent customer service and client communication skills
* A collaborative, team‐first approach
* A positive, hands‐on attitude and willingness to get involved across the clinic
