Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end financial reporting and accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data
* Support the Financial Controller in delivering high-quality financial reporting and insights to drive business decisions
* Oversee and monitor offshore Shared Services (AP, AR, and Financial Reporting teams)
* Manage month-end close processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and reporting deliverables
* Coordinate external audit processes and manage relationships with auditors
* Ensure compliance through execution and oversight of SOX controls, identifying opportunities to strengthen governance and streamline processes
* Oversee tax compliance activities including BAS, income tax reporting, and transfer pricing documentation in collaboration with regional tax teams
* Partner with HR to ensure payroll processes are effectively managed and compliant
* Lead credit management activities, including monitoring debt, managing complex accounts, and ensuring DSO targets are achieved
* Collaborate with local, regional, and global stakeholders to support financial performance, growth, and profitability

Ideal Candidate
* Degree in Accounting or Finance, with CA/CPA qualification preferred
* Demonstrated experience in financial accounting, reporting, and analysis within a complex organisation
* Proven experience managing or overseeing teams, including shared service environments
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and internal/external reporting requirements
* Experience with SOX controls and governance frameworks (highly regarded)
* Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems such as SAP (ECC or S/4HANA) and exposure to reporting and planning tools such as OneStream or similar systems
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights in financial data
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across local and global teams
