Assisting in the preparation, delivery, presentation and serving of resident meals.Your responsibilities will be to provide care and support aligned with residents preferred daily routines with a strong focus on:* Meal choices and individual nutrition* Consideration of allergies and food intolerances* Enhancing the overall dining experience* Assist residents with meal selection and meal timing preferences* Prepare and set up dining areas to meet individual needs and preferences* Actively engage with residents to provide social and emotional support during mealtimes* Use empathy and kindness to foster a positive dining experience* Promote resident choice and control to uphold dignity and respect* Prepare and maintain dining experience areas and provide meal service to meet individual resident choices* Maintain accurate nutrition and diet information as required* Assist with quality food preparation in accordance with the Food Safety Plan, Bolton Clarke Food Standards and Dining Framework* Assist with maintaining kitchen stock supplies as required**To be successful, you will have:*** Demonstrated customer service skills* A compassionate and caring attitude* Previous restaurant and/or commercial kitchen experience (highly regarded)* Willingness to take direction from others* Reliability and shift flexibility* Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure* Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)* Complete a police check and or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain) prior to commencement**About this location:**Sandbrook, a 109 bed residential aged care facility located in Burleigh Waters.
