Bookkeeper and Office Support (Part‐Time)
This unique position is a great opportunity for a well‐rounded and experienced professional in bookkeeping.
Primary day‐to‐day responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
* Accounts payable and receivable;
* Payroll processing;
* Debtors reporting, monitoring and following up of overdue debtors;
* Statutory reporting BAS and Payroll Tax processing;
* Managing of internal compliance and auditing on regular basis;
* End of month, end of financial year reporting;
* Management of Workers Compensation claims and insurances;
* Asset Management, registrations and payments;
* Day to day management of the overall operations of the office including general upkeep and business support;
* HR function as required;
* Supporting Operations team on matters as required.
Essential skills and experience:
* Extensive bookkeeping and advanced knowledge of MYOB is essential;
* Experience with working in Transport industry and use of Translogix is desirable;
* Ability to work under pressure coupled with high level time management skills;
* Autonomous as well as self‐motivated individual;
* Exceptional administrative and communication skills;
* Ability to manage and coordinate external and internal client enquiries within timely manner;
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work;
* Ability to complete tasks within designated timeframe and prioritise accordingly to meet business deadlines;
* Demonstrated ability to work in a small team environment as well as perform well individually;
* A 'can do' attitude with the ability to problem solve issues with integrity, accountability and transparency.
We are seeking someone who is a quick learner with an outstanding work ethic as well as proven previous experience in a similar role. Training will be provided however you must know ins/outs of the bookkeeping, accounting and office administration to be able to successfully manage day to day requirements of our busy office.
Candidates with proven experience in transport and logistics industry as well as demonstrated bookkeeping knowledge, will be highly looked upon for this opportunity.
