We are partnering with a leading specialist insurer experiencing strong growth and increased claim volumes, resulting in multiple openings for experienced External Loss Adjusters.

This is a genuine opportunity for established field adjusters who enjoy autonomy, technical work, and client interaction—without the red tape of large, process-heavy environments. You'll be trusted to manage your own portfolio while being supported by a highly capable internal team.

The Role

* Manage a portfolio of property claims end-to-end in a fully external/field-based capacity
* Attend sites to investigate losses, determine cause, and scope damage
* Interpret policy coverage and make confident, commercially sound decisions
* Produce high-quality reports with clear recommendations and reserve accuracy
* Appoint and manage builders, engineers, and other external experts
* Negotiate and agree settlements directly with clients, brokers, and contractors
* Maintain strong relationships with strata managers, property owners, and stakeholders
* Operate with autonomy while meeting SLAs and service standards

What We're Looking For

* Proven experience as an External Loss Adjuster (property focus strongly preferred)
* Strong technical understanding of property claims and policy interpretation
* Comfortable working autonomously in a field-based role
* Confident communicator, able to handle sensitive and sometimes complex claims scenarios
* Solid report writing and reserving capability
* Trade, building, or construction background highly regarded
* Relevant industry qualifications (or working towards) advantageous
