A growing independent co-educational school, South of Perth, is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join their team from Term 3 on a part time (0.6 FTE) basis.

The Opportunity

Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging learning experiences aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum and SCSA requirements
* Implement evidence based teaching strategies to support student learning and progress
* Create a positive, inclusive and structured classroom environment
* Monitor, assess and report on student achievement in line with school guidelines
* Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery and school initiatives
* Build strong relationships with students, parents and staff
* Support the Christian ethos and values of the school in everyday practice
What we are looking for
* Recognised teaching qualification
* TRBWA registration
* Working With Children Check
* Demonstrated ability or willingness to teach Primary aged students
* Sound understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum and SCSA requirements
* Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
* Commitment to supporting the ethos and values of an Anglican school community
* Full Australian working rights
