About the role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Reverence Community care' in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria. This is a full-time role, where you will play a crucial part in helping our clients regain independence and improve their quality of life through tailored occupational therapy interventions.
What you'll be doing
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' physical, cognitive and psychosocial needs
- Develop and implement individualised therapy plans to address clients' goals and improve their functional abilities
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions, including activities of daily living training, home modifications, and assistive technology prescription
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to client care
- Document client progress and outcome measures in accordance with professional and organisational standards
- Participate in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a community or rehabilitation setting
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuing professional development
