Key Responsibilities
* Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems.
* Conduct diagnostics, fault finding, and troubleshooting of control systems, PLCs, and SCADA interfaces.
* Execute preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
* Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings for instrumentation and control systems.
* Work with field sensors, transmitters, actuators, and control loops to maintain system accuracy.
* Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry regulations, and company procedures.
* Collaborate with engineers, operators, and maintenance teams.
* Maintain detailed documentation and reports on maintenance activities and system performance.
Qualifications
* Electrical or Instrumentation trade certification (for E&I Techs).
* Minimum 5 years of experience in E&I Maintenance.
* Strong knowledge of turbine control systems, PLCs, DCS and SCADA systems.
* Experience with calibration, loop testing, and troubleshooting of instrumentation devices including the use of Beamex calibration equipment.
* Understanding of HV/LV electrical systems, motor control centers (MCCs), and VFDs.
* Ability to work in hazardous environments (e.g., LNG, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical) and follow safety regulations.
* Familiarity with OEM systems (Baker Hughes, GE, Solar, etc.) is a plus.
* Strong problem‐solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* EEHA Qualifications (within the last 5 years).
* Current Electrical License.
* LVR CPR within 12 months.
* Certificate III/IV Instrumentation & Control.
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence.
* Proof of right to work in Australia.
