DutiesIn this role, you will be involved in:Performing proactive patching on various applications to support clients' vulnerability management plansCollecting and collating data to support regular cybersecurity-related reporting activitiesConducting health checks on existing client solution implementations, including Security Awareness Training Platforms, EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), Firewalls, and Application ControlProvision of technical support and troubleshooting for security-related issues to customers based in AustraliaStaying up to date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practicesMaintenance of documentation concerning security procedures, processes, and incidentsAssisting in conducting post-incident reviews and implementing corrective actionsDocumentation and logging of all actions into ticketing systemPotentially responsibilities may also include some incident responseRequirementsRequirementsTo succeed in this role, we don't expect you to have skills in all of these areas but a working knowledge will give you an advantage:Proven experience in a cybersecurity or a related role, with a focus on vulnerability management, patching, and incident responseKnowledge and understanding of common security frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, or CIS ControlsFamiliarity with security tools and technologies, including EDR, Firewalls, and Application Control solutionsA general knowledge of technical infrastructure from desktop to firewall, including LAN & WAN networking principlesExperience working with an IT outsourcer or managed service provider (MSP)An understanding of ticketing systems and customer service principlesExperience with Connectwise, Labtech, and/or Solarwinds Orion (Desired)Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English (Mandatory)QualificationsPossession of these certifications will give you an advantage for this role, so if you have any of these, please make sure to let us know:CompTIA Security+Certified Ethical Ha-cker (CEH), or equivalentVendor certifications from Fortinet, Sophos, Avanade etcBenefitsFirst Focus' values are based around keeping everyone informed, aligned, supported, and rewarding performance.
