SCHOOL BASED TRAINEE – ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

We are offering a School Based Traineeship for a passionate and reliable high school student to join our team as an Administration Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn a nationally recognised qualification while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a professional office environment.

What you will be doing:
* Provide administrative assistance to the Human Resources sections and Governance teams
* Assisting with general office duties (filing, scanning, data entry)
* Using Microsoft Office and internal systems
* Assist in the preparation of meeting rooms and arrange meeting/training venues as required.

Remuneration:
In accordance with clause 32D of the Local Government (State) Award 2023.
To be successful in this position:
* Be a current high school student commencing year 11 in 2026,
* Have strong communication and organisational skills
* Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Be reliable and able to manage school and work commitments
* Have basic computer skills
