Position Information Morgan Street Public School, proudly situated on Wilyakali country in Broken Hill, is a vibrant and welcoming learning community. With an enrolment of 296 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 across 13 classes, nearly 13% of our students identify as Aboriginal.

Specific Selection Criteria
Approval to teach infants and or primary and proven expertise in leading evidence-based, explicit teaching, differentiation strategies and providing effective feedback underpinned by high expectations.
Proven ability to contribute effectively as a member of the leadership team while maintaining outstanding classroom practice alongside the demands of a leadership position.
Demonstrated ability to contribute to the strategic directions of a school, supporting and driving initiatives within the School Excellence Plan.
Demonstrated ability to lead collaborative practices and foster a culture that values teamwork.
General Selection Criteria
Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice.
Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs.
Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams.
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents.
Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning.
Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy.
Conditions Unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching prospect.
