We're looking for experienced life insurance Claims Managers to join our ART Life Operations team and play a vital role in supporting members through life and disability insurance claims.

About the role

We're all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As a Claims Manager with ART Life, you'll bring your expertise and knowledge to provide end-to-end management of life, disability and income protection claims.

Day to day, you'll:

* Manage a portfolio of life, disability and income protection claims
* Assess eligibility by reviewing medical, occupational and contractual information
* Conduct functional phone interviews to understand member needs and barriers
* Develop proactive case management plans focused on recovery and return-to-work
* Communicate empathetically with members and stakeholders
* Provide clear, easy-to-understand updates and claim decisions
* Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture, and much more...

This role is a permanent opportunity based in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney.

About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

* Depth of experience in life insurance Claims Management
* Customer focused, member-centric roles with a strong service orientation
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Understand and manage emotions to handle sensitive situations with empathy, integrity and professionalism.
* Tertiary qualifications in Insurance, Finance or similar (desirable)
* Experience within Early Intervention Services, Rehabilitation, Community Services and other related health/medical services (desirable)
