The Company
This business operates at the centre of live experiences, technology and culture, supporting the infrastructure that helps events and audiences connect at scale. They partner with a wide range of promoters, venues, festivals and event operators, and are trusted to deliver outcomes in an environment where timing, momentum and execution matter.
Their world is inherently time based. Campaigns are built around launches, tours, on sales and short windows where attention is scarce and competition is loud. The work moves fast, priorities shift and marketing is not a background function, it sits close to commercial performance and client outcomes. The business has built a strong reputation in market and continues to grow its footprint through long term relationships, consistent delivery and a deep understanding of how audiences behave.
They are also a business that values strong collaboration between teams, practical thinking over theory and people who can operate with pace while still being structured. Due to continued growth and an increased focus on strengthening marketing capability across both audience engagement and client positioning, they are now seeking a Marketing Manager in a newly appointed position.
The Role
As the new Marketing Manager, you will set the tone for how marketing runs, how priorities get decided and how consistently great work gets delivered. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will translate brand direction and business strategy into campaigns, systems and delivery that scale.
This is a senior, hands‐on role with genuine scope and influence. You will lead a small team and bring structure and momentum to how work flows, how performance is tracked and how marketing supports both audience engagement and client conversations.
Your priorities will include:
* Leading end‐to‐end marketing execution across consumer and client audiences
* Building a clear operating cadence for planning, delivery and campaign prioritisation
* Lifting marketing systems and processes across email, SMS, segmentation and automation
* Establishing meaningful analytics and reporting to guide decisions and optimisation
* Developing the team through coaching, clarity of expectations and practical leadership
* Partnering with commercial stakeholders to strengthen client‐facing positioning and marketing value articulation
This role suits someone who enjoys building momentum, leading people and turning ideas into action in a fast moving, time based environment.
About You
You are a commercially minded marketing leader who balances strategic thinking with strong execution. You are comfortable setting direction, creating structure and rolling up your sleeves when needed, and you enjoy coaching a team to lift capability over time.
You build strong working relationships with stakeholders, communicate clearly and bring calm momentum to fast moving environments. You are curious, practical and confident enough to challenge the status quo without creating friction. Experience in time based products such as events, entertainment, sport, venues, arts or similar will be highly regarded.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience leading a marketing team in a hands‐on, delivery focused role
* Strong background in campaign planning and execution across digital channels
* Experience managing marketing systems, workflows and automation including email, SMS and segmentation
* Ability to translate strategy into clear priorities, plans and executable work
* Commercial mindset, with experience supporting client‐facing or B2B conversations through marketing
* Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence partnering with senior leaders
* Data literate, with experience using insights and reporting to drive optimisation
* Comfortable operating in fast paced, time based or deadline driven environments
* Experience in events, entertainment, sport, media or similar industries will be highly regarded
