ASIC is seeking a senior communications professional to lead the design and delivery of strategic employee and group communications. This is a critical leadership role responsible for shaping how we engage with our people, connect them to ASIC's purpose, and support major transformation programs.
Location: Melbourne or Sydney
Salary: $165,011 - $202,614 (plus 15.4% superannuation)

The team
ASIC communications serve multiple audiences, including consumers and investors, employees, media, community, government and industry, and its regulated community. This requires a whole-of-ASIC approach. ASIC's Communications and Corporate Affairs function is responsible for leading ASIC's communications and stakeholder engagement including internal, corporate and external communications (including media), as well as digital communications, and consumer education and Moneysmart. Its purpose is to build and leverage strategic stakeholder relationships to drive engagement and protect and enhance ASIC's reputation.
The role
As Senior Manager, Employee & Group Communications, You Will
* Develop and implement organisation-wide communication strategies and campaigns to drive engagement and embed ASIC's purpose and values.
* Advise and partner with senior leaders on strategic change and transformation communications.
* Manage and coach a high-performing team of up to four direct reports, setting direction and ensuring delivery excellence.
* Apply a data-driven, campaign mindset to measure impact and continually refine communications strategies.
About You
You hold a degree in communications (or related discipline) and bring at least eight years' experience in strategic internal communications within complex organisations. It is essential that you have senior communications experience in financial services, professional services, government or regulatory sectors. You have demonstrated success in delivering enterprise-wide employee engagement and communication strategies, simplifying complex information for diverse audiences, and leading teams to achieve strong results.
You are a clear, precise communicator with strong judgment and a collaborative approach. Highly developed attention to detail and accuracy is essential. You build trusted relationships with executives and stakeholders, influence with credibility, and deliver under pressure. With a strategic and innovative mindset, you know how to design campaigns that cut through and connect with employees.
