Senior SAP SuccessFactors Functional Consultant – EC Payroll (ECP)
Overview
The Senior SuccessFactors Functional Consultant – Employee Central Payroll (ECP) is responsible for the end-to-end functional design, implementation, and support of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll solutions across multiple countries and payroll environments. This role requires strong payroll knowledge, solid SuccessFactors expertise, and the ability to deliver scalable and compliant payroll solutions.

Key Responsibilities
* Solution Design and Architecture
o Lead functional design for Employee Central Payroll
o Align solutions across Employee Central, Payroll Control Center, Compensation, and Finance
o Design end-to-end payroll processes including data replication, wage types, payroll cycles, and corrections
o Translate statutory and country-specific payroll requirements into system design
* Global Payroll Implementations
o Deliver multi-country payroll implementations
o Manage local compliance and global template consistency
o Support variations in tax, statutory reporting, pay cycles, and deductions
o Work with local payroll teams to ensure accurate design
* Configuration and Build
o Configure payroll schemas, rules, and wage types
o Support Payroll Control Center and monitoring processes
o Ensure audit compliance and reconciliation capability
* Integration and Data Flow
o Support EC to ECP integration
o Work with finance and technical teams on data flow and reporting
o Ensure proper reconciliation and error handling
* Testing and Cutover
o Support functional specifications, UAT, and parallel payroll runs
o Perform payroll reconciliation and sign-off
o Support cutover and post-go-live payroll cycles
* Payroll Operations
o Design payroll operating models and runbooks
o Support incident management and escalation processes
o Enable business teams for post-go-live support
* Stakeholder Management
o Act as a trusted advisor to HR, Payroll, Finance, and Technology teams
o Lead workshops and provide clear recommendations
o Identify and manage risks and dependencies
Skills and Experience
* Core Experience
o 8+ years of experience in SAP Payroll or SuccessFactors
o Strong experience in Employee Central Payroll
o Proven experience delivering end-to-end payroll implementations
o Experience working on multi-country payrolls (Australia, New Zealand, India, Philippines)
o End-to-end project lifecycle experience
* Payroll Knowledge
o Strong understanding of payroll processing, compliance, and controls
o Experience with retro payroll and reconciliation processes
o Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll
o Payroll Control Center
o Compensation integration and finance postings
o Data replication and governance
* Consulting Skills
o Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
o Ability to handle complex payroll issues
o Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Certifications
* SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll certification (mandatory)
* SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central certification (preferred)
