Komatsu's Wacol PDI branch is growing, and we are currently seeking multiple Auto Electricians / HV Electricians to join our workshop team. This is a hands‐on role focused on electrical fit-outs and preparation of a wide range of machinery including brand‐new machines, mining equipment, construction & utility equipment.
You'll work across machine assembly, fit-outs, pre‐delivery inspections, machine preparation and local optional installation before equipment is delivered to customers.

We are open to candidates from a variety of trade backgrounds including Auto Electricians, HV Electricians, Mobile Plant Electricians, Light Vehicle Electricians, Trades Assistants with heavy commercial electrical experience. Whether you already have experience in heavy equipment or are looking to transition into the industry, Komatsu can provide the training, support and development to help build your long‐term career.
Scheduling and Location
Roster: Monday to Friday – 5:00 am to 1:57 pm or 2:00 pm to 10:27 pm
Location: Wacol, Queensland

What We Are Looking For
* Trade qualification in Automotive Electrical, HV Electrical, Mobile Plant Electrical or similar.
* Open to Light Vehicle Electricians and Trades Assistants with heavy commercial electrical experience.
* Strong electrical aptitude and attention to detail.
* Experience with heavy mobile equipment or commercial machinery highly regarded.
* Ability to interpret electrical schematics and fault‐find effectively.
* Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Industry standard tickets/licences preferred but not essential (Forklift, EWP, Working at Heights, Doggers / Riggers).
