We are seeking an experienced and qualified Ecologist to play a pivotal role in shaping conservation efforts across our stunning region. You will engage with communities, stakeholders and other Landscape Boards to drive positive environmental outcomes; respond to ecological referrals and native vegetation clearance assessments, offering expert guidance; provide technical advice to staff and stakeholders, helping shape conservation projects and collaborate with land managers to support best-practice land management decisions. To succeed at either the PO2 or PO3 level (depending on your skills and experience levels), you'll need proven expertise in ecology and environmental management; strong community engagement, project management, communication and collaboration skills; relevant qualifications to ensure you can hit the ground running and a passion for working with stakeholders, staff and the broader community to protect and enhance our landscapes.
