Both testing, then selling and supporting CEC listed system under the Vaulta Select brand and developing our own products, we're building something genuinely different in Australian energy storage.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a Sales Representative who is a genuine doer — someone who thrives in the field, not behind a desk managing a team. This is a hands-on role for a proven closer who loves the full sales cycle: finding the right prospects, building real relationships, and getting deals across the line.
You won't be inheriting a warm lead list or waiting for inbound enquiries. You'll own your pipeline from scratch, working across our key customer segments — residential and off-grid homeowners, commercial and industrial businesses, construction operators, and installer partners. This role reports directly to Dominic, our CEO, and sits at the commercial heart of a fast-growing clean tech business with real momentum behind it.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* – Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and government segments
* – Build and manage your own pipeline using outbound outreach, industry events, referrals, and strategic networking
* – Qualify leads efficiently and prioritise high-value opportunities without letting anything slip through the cracks
Relationship Building & Closing
* – Conduct face-to-face and remote consultations with homeowners, facility managers, construction PMs, and installer partners
* – Present Vaulta's product range with genuine technical confidence — from the Select 5kWh residential system to 200kWh+ commercial solutions
* – Manage the full sales cycle from first contact through to signed contract, coordinating with operations and technical teams as needed
* – Follow up persistently and professionally — you understand that most deals don't close on the first call
Market & Account Development
* – Develop and grow relationships with installer and trade partners across QLD, NSW, and SA
* – Stay across state and federal battery rebate programs and position Vaulta's eligible products accordingly
* – Provide market feedback to the leadership team — you're our ears on the ground
WHAT YOU BRING
* –1 + years of proven B2B or technical sales experience — energy, solar, construction, or infrastructure sectors preferred
* – A track record of hitting targets through your own effort, not through managing others
* – Comfortable prospecting cold — you don't wait for leads to come to you
* – Strong commercial instincts and the ability to read a room, tailor your pitch, and handle objections confidently
* – Familiarity with battery storage, solar, or renewable energy is a genuine advantage
* – Self-managed and disciplined — you can structure your week, track your activity, and hold yourself accountable and report your actions through Hubspot CRM or similar
* – Based in or able to operate across QLD, NSW, or SA with willingness to travel to customer sites
