Details: Aranda Primary School - Our vibrant and inclusive Primary School is seeking a passionate and experienced School Business Manager to join our leadership team. This is a unique opportunity for a proactive and strategic professional to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our school.
The successful applicant will be responsible for key areas including strategic planning, financial and facilities management, human resources, communications, stakeholder engagement, procurement, contract administration, compliance, risk management, and governance.
We are looking for a highly organised and forward-thinking professional with a demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities while ensuring alignment with Directorate policies and procedures. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as the role involves working closely with a diverse range of stakeholders across the school community. Prior experience in a dynamic school setting will be highly regarded.

Asbestos Awareness Training is a compulsory requirement of this role and must be completed prior to or on commencement of this role.
Highly Desirable:
* Qualification or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance or
* Experience in a business-related role and financial qualifications and/or relevant experience.
* Knowledge of Xero and Sentral systems.
* Knowledge of office practices and procedures.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
* First Aid qualification. A First Aid Certificate or a willingness to undertake appropriate training.
Note: This is a temporary position available immediately until 20 July 2026 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency.
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
