Practice Manager Role Overview
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a unique blend of technical, business, and interpersonal skills. As the Practice Manager, you will oversee day-to-day clinic operations, staff rosters, inventory, and workflows.
* Manage daily clinic operations, including staff scheduling, supply ordering, and equipment maintenance.
* Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
* Maintain accurate records of patient information, treatment plans, and financial transactions.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will also provide exceptional front-desk service, including appointment bookings, patient communication, billing, and recalls. This will involve working closely with patients, clinicians, and administrative staff to ensure seamless communication and high-quality care.
What You'll Bring
* Dental practice experience as a DA/dental receptionist or any non-dental practice management experience.
* Australian work rights are mandatory for this position.
* Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and patient flow.
* Confident communication and interpersonal skills; genuine care for patient experience.
* Proficiency with dental software (e.g., D4W, Exact) and multitasking in a busy environment.
