We're looking for a Level 3 Service Desk Technician (Networking Focus) who thrives on solving complex infrastructure problems, supporting high-performing engineers, and delivering exceptional outcomes across diverse client environments.

If you enjoy deep technical troubleshooting across networking, cloud, and Microsoft ecosystems—and want to be the escalation point others rely on—this role is for you.

What you'll do
* Act as a senior technical escalation point within our Service Desk and Infrastructure teams, responsible for resolving complex incidents and supporting the stability and performance of client environments.
* Own and resolve escalated technical issues across networking, cloud, virtualisation, and Microsoft infrastructure.
* Serve as the highest escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 engineers.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VPN, and firewall issues.
* Support Cisco, Meraki, and Aruba network environments.
* Work across Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Windows Server ecosystems.
* Troubleshoot virtualised environments including VMware and Hyper‐V.
* Engage with clients to provide clear and confident technical communication and incident updates.
* Contribute to problem management and root‐cause analysis.
* Identify and support service improvements and automation opportunities.
* Mentor junior engineers and help uplift overall team capability.
What you'll bring
* 3–6+ years' experience in IT support, Service Desk, or MSP environments.
* Strong hands‐on experience in networking and infrastructure support.
* Confidence working in escalation‐heavy environments.
* Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure.
* Strong communication skills with both technical and non‐technical stakeholders.
* A collaborative mindset and willingness to support and mentor others.
Technical experience across
* Cisco, Meraki, Aruba (switching, routing, Wi‐Fi)
* VLANs, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, NAT
* Firewalls, VPNs, and network security fundamentals
* LAN/WAN troubleshooting and performance optimisation
* Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting
* Azure fundamentals and identity (Entra ID)
* Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server
* VMware vSphere and Hyper‐V environments
* Server and storage troubleshooting
Desirable certifications
* CCNA / CCNP (highly regarded)
* Microsoft certifications (Azure, M365, Windows Server)
* ITIL Foundation
* Fortinet, Aruba, or VMware certifications advantageous
