Senior Bridge Engineer

Join a highly regarded engineering consultancy delivering some of the largest and highest-value bridge and transport infrastructure projects across NSW. This is a senior technical role within a strong civil and structural team focused on complex bridge design and delivery.
You'll be working across major road and rail bridge projects, heavy civil structures, overpasses, and associated transport infrastructure, with exposure to both new builds and significant upgrades for key government and private sector clients.
The Opportunity
This role sits within a high-performing infrastructure team where bridge engineers, structural specialists, drafters, and project leaders work closely together from concept through detailed design and construction support. You'll take a lead role on technically complex projects while also supporting and mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead structural and detailed design of bridge and transport infrastructure projects
* Deliver complex analysis and design for road, rail, and civil structures
* Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs across design and delivery phases
* Engage directly with clients, contractors, and transport authorities
* Provide technical leadership and review across bridge design outputs
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team capability growth
About You
* Degree-qualified Civil/Structural Engineer
* Enjoy working on a variety of Transport Structures in Road and Rail
* Strong background in bridge design in Australia
* 5+ years' experience in consulting or transport-focused engineering
* Solid knowledge of Australian Standards and relevant bridge codes
* Experience working with government transport authorities highly regarded
* Chartered or working towards CPEng preferred
