Consultant Radiologist – Newcastle
About the Role
Based primarily at the Cooks Hill practice and fulfilling roster commitments in other nearby sites, including Adamstown, Charlestown, Cardiff, Toronto, Williamtown and Salamander Bay, the role will have the support of Hunter Imaging's team of radiologists and support personnel. The role is part of a 19‐strong network of clinical practices, all sites connected by a wide‐area integrated PACS‐RIS system which can be extended to 'at home' reporting arrangements for the right candidate. The successful candidate will have access to state‐of‐the‐art medical imaging equipment and will be supported by a large technical and support staff. Hunter Imaging is also proud to be part of one of the largest diagnostic imaging practices in the country as part of Sonic Healthcare Radiology Australia. The successful candidate will seek a challenging and rewarding role, with clinical sovereignty and experience and expertise in MRI, CT, ultrasound, interventional procedures and general radiography.
Special interests in musculoskeletal imaging, prostate, mammography and/or breast MRI would be an advantage.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Fellowship with the Royal Australasian and New Zealand College of Radiologists or equivalent
* Specialist registration with AHPRA
