Senior Project Officer – Planning
We are looking for an inspired, driven Senior Project Officer – Planning with demonstrated experience in strategic/conservation planning and protected area management. You will support the development and delivery of the planning program within the South East Queensland Region, contributing to the long‐term sustainability and conservation of protected area natural and cultural values.
As the Senior Project Officer – Planning you will help guide the region in implementing the department's Values‐Based Management Framework (VBMF) across South East Queensland Region, while actively collaborating with First Nation partners to safeguard the region's beauty and heritage.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about conservation, land management and working collaboratively. Your technical expertise, learning agility and collaborative leadership will ensure planning remains a dynamic process that drives continual improvement and conservation success.
Qualifications
* Experience in protected area management and strategic planning.
* Demonstrated cultural capability.
* Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
* GIS skills would be highly regarded.
