Occupational Therapist
An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and skilled Occupational Therapist to join Eastern Health, working with an acute inpatient population on the general medical wards at Maroondah Hospital. The role involves providing occupational therapy assessment and interventions to support discharge planning across a varied and interesting caseload, including patients on the Acute Care of the Elderly team.
Responsibilities
* Provide occupational therapy assessment and interventions to support discharge planning for acute inpatient population.
* Supervise staff and students.
* Collaborate closely with the allied health team to deliver high quality, client‐centered patient care.
Qualifications
* AHPRA Registration.
* Demonstrated clinical experience in acute occupational therapy.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Strong commitment to value‐based care and interdisciplinary teamwork.
* Commitment to client‐centered practice.
* Vaccination and screening for immunity to vaccine‐preventable disease is a mandatory requirement of the role.
