About The Role
As a Teacher, Nursing Clinical Placement within the Nursing & Clinical Health business area, your key responsibilities include:
* Delivery training, assessment and supervision within the clinical placement environment for Diploma of Nursing students.
* Validate and review the completed clinical placement logbooks submitted by students within the program.
* Plan education practices and delivery sessions that reflect the most effective way to engage learners.
* Develop and deliver planned teaching sessions in a variety of innovative and adaptive ways, ensuring that teaching materials and resources meet all regulatory standards, training packages and related requirements.
* Establish and maintain a positive learning environment, including encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learning.
* Adapt learning and assessment materials to cater for different students, learning environments, facilities, and resources.
* Undertake a range of administrative, coordination, and learning services activities directly related to the areas taught.
* Assist in relation to the establishment, maintenance, and review of teaching programs.
* Maintain a respectful, and safe environment free from violence & aggression, bullying, sexual harassment and discrimination.
About You
You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.
Qualifications Required For The Role
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or qualifications that meet the RTO Standards.
* Vocational qualifications at AQF level Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent.
* Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
* Vocational currency as demonstrated through a range of work and related experience.
* A record of Vocational Competency, mapped to Units of Competency engaged to deliver.
* A record of Professional Currency, demonstrating current industry and teaching knowledge.
