How You'll Shine As Chef
As Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, producing and presenting superior quality food in a timely and professional manner. You will place the highest importance on food safety and hygiene with food preparation and presentation to ensure our owners and guests have a memorable dining experience. You will assist our Executive Chef in menu creation and provide effective, efficient and professional food and beverage service while maintaining the highest level of customer service to meet all needs of owners and guests.
What You'll Bring
* 2+ years' experience as a Chef or similar position within a resort/hotel environment
* Trade qualification (Certificate III Commercial Cookery)
* Strong focus on food safety and hygiene of food preparation
* Ability to prepare, produce and present all foods in accordance with identified Food Hygiene and Health and Safety standards
* Excellent customer service skills, with an open friendly manner and positive attitude
* Strong teamwork and team spirit
* Ability to follow given tasks to completion and to the best of your ability
* Clear, prompt, and concise communication with Chef and team members on all matters
* Appropriate qualifications
* Ability to work productively in a fast‐paced, changing workplace
