We are seeking to establish a pool of Cleaners for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Australind Senior High School (SHS) is located north of Bunbury with easy access to the wider Southwest region of Western Australia. The Role
Australind SHS is seeking to appoint energetic and motivated individuals to fill upcoming Cleaner roles and join their friendly team.
* Suitable applicants will ideally have good attention to detail and be able to work well both individually and as part of a team to ensure a clean and safe school environment.
* Applicants should be organised, reliable, punctual and have knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods and practices.
Responsibilities
* Internal cleaning duties include the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, cleaning of furniture and fittings, windows, toilets and dusting.
* External duties include rubbish removal, cleaning of drinking troughs, external windows, verandas and covered areas and cobweb removal.
* Participate in vacation cleaning which includes stripping and sealing of vinyl floors, carpet shampooing, pressure cleaning of undercover areas and verandas, and other duties directed by the Cleaner‐In‐Charge.
