Overview

Byron Shire Council is currently seeking expressions of interest from existing staff for the temporary role of Team Leader Roads Operations. The position will manage the crews and staff undertaking maintenance works to ensure the teams achieve the scheduled works and services contained in the maintenance programs in an efficient, timely and effective manner. Maintenance works include signage, line markings, sealed roads and other works.

Position Details

Fixed term appointment from 8 June to 2 December 2026.

* Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award with a salary range of $1,615.14 to $1,871.39 per 35‐hour week.

Location

This position is based at the Byron Depot; however, Council may require you to work from other sites as required for operational reasons.
