This is a great opportunity for a Specialist Teacher of Home Economics to join a dedicated team at our Senior School. The successful applicant will have an excellent knowledge of senior schooling operations and the appropriate pedagogy to engage and achieve successful student outcomes.

Requirements and Attributes
* Tertiary qualifications in teaching and the subjects identified
* Registered to teach in South Australia or be eligible to obtain registration
* Understanding of and commitment to Christian education
* Desire and skills to participate in the school's pastoral care programme
* Desire and skills to participate in the College's co‐curricular programme
* Passion for understanding how learning occurs and teaching pedagogies suitable for middle school students
* Ability to respond positively to the pressures of a modern classroom
* Set high standards for student learning and personal performance
* Deal effectively with the administrative detail of the position
* Communicate effectively with a wide range of people verbally and in writingHighly developed interpersonal skills with the necessary cultural sensitivity

* Teaching expertise, including subject knowledge, pedagogy and classroom and student management practices
* Specific mention of your high level skills/experience in Senior English will be an advantage
* High level of experience in English Faculty leadership is desirable
* Commitment to and understanding of Christian education
* Skills and ability to contribute to the co-curricular programme
