Job Description
The Senior Management Accountant is responsible for the following:
* Inventory management, accounting
* Assist with product costing
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
* Provide insights to senior management on financial performance and opportunities for improvement.
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
* Produce financial statements
* Assist with tax requirements
* Assist with cost analysis and financial modelling to support operational efficiency.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes.
* Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
* Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders as required.
* Other ad hoc projects as requested by the Head of Finance
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Management Accountant should have:
* Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* Demonstrated experience in management accounting within the industrial and manufacturing sector.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
* Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
* Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
