We are looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist – Diabetes to join our esteemed team at Bunbury Hospital.
Qualifications and Experience
* Registered Nurse eligible for registration by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Credentialed diabetes educator status or actively working towards it within 6 months of employment.
* Extensive clinical experience and specialist knowledge in diabetes management.
* Strong analytical, problem‐solving, and critical thinking skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Knowledge of best practice principles and experience in quality improvement initiatives.
* Current C or C‐A Class driver's licence with the capability to travel within the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide clinical leadership and consultancy to healthcare professionals across various settings.
* Develop and implement clinical guidelines and nursing policies based on evidence-based practice.
* Promote excellence in the delivery of customer‐focused services to clients and their families.
* Develop and evaluate educational training programmes for clients, staff, and health professionals.
* Monitor and review accreditation standards for the Diabetes Service, implementing necessary actions.
