Weekend Fleet Manager / Dispatcher – Brighton, CO
Full-time weekend shift (Friday-Sunday).
Day shifts 6am-6pm or overnight shifts 6pm-6am (3–12 hour shifts).
Additional 4+ hours can be made up during the week.
Overtime available.
Position Objective: The Fleet Manager is the liaison between customers and field technicians.
Create and track work orders and dispatch technicians.
Ensure all charges related to work orders are posted properly.
Ensure all work orders are closed on a timely basis.
Conduct themselves in the presence of customers in a manner that promotes a positive image of the company.
Job Responsibilities
Answer incoming phone calls, create work orders and dispatch technicians in a timely and friendly manner.
Schedule service appointments (obtain customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible).
Prepare, open, maintain and close repair orders.
Write up customer's vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair orders.
Refer to service history, inspect vehicle, and recommend additional services needed.
Provide customer a complete and accurate written quote for repair that includes a timeline.
Update customer of any changes in the quote or timeline for repair; obtain pre-approval before continuing work.
Explain work and all charges to the customer.
Maintain high customer satisfaction standards.
Maintain a follow-up program on service repairs done and additional items found in need of repair.
Handle customer inquiries on the phone.
Follow up with customers regarding parts ordered for warranty repairs and schedule a repair once the parts have been sourced.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Some college – degree not required.
Fleet management, dispatching or scheduling experience a plus.
Proficient in Windows and Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and website navigation.
Must be able to multi-task.
Must have effective listening and communication skills to assist customers professionally in person or by phone.
Strong personal organizational skills as they relate to workload, time management and setting priorities in an unsupervised environment.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
