Trade Assistant – Auto Electrical
Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management – Engineering and Fleet Services (EFS) is responsible for vehicle fabrication, automotive, electrical works and vehicle commissioning & maintenance for DPFEM clients and stakeholders.
Employment type: Fixed‐term, full‐time (Period of appointment: ASAP until 30 June 2027)
Location: Hobart, South
Responsibilities
* Assist the auto electrical team by running cabling and electrical pre‐work to commission emergency vehicles.
* Assist with vehicle decommissioning and other commissioning & decommissioning tasks directed by the Unit Coordinator – Auto Electric.
Qualifications
* Practical experience working within the automotive industry.
* Medium / Heavy Vehicle License.
* Current Driver's License.

Salary
General Stream Band 2 – Tasmanian State Service Award: $69,593 to $74,837 per annum.
