Roles and Responsibilities
* Design, develop and implement Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, CMDB, ITAM, Application Portfolio Management, Service Catalog workflows, ITIL processes, and UI/UX within the ServiceNow platform and integrations with external systems.
* Implement technology‐specific best practices and standards.
* Gather and translate functional & technical requirements into implementation work packages.
* Design and develop ServiceNow data models to support process integrations, ITAM & CMDB.
* Design and develop forms, views, ACLs, client‐side/server‐side rules, and notifications based on business requirements.
* Design and develop integrations using ServiceNow APIs, JDBC, web services, email, file transfer, and other options.
* Manage traceability of releases, versions and code sets.
* Provide support during UAT and testing.
* Follow SDLC methodologies (Agile / waterfall).
* Produce and maintain detailed system documentation including design specifications, maintenance guides, troubleshooting procedures, deployment plans, disaster recovery, technical notes, and testing documentation.
* Assist in developing project estimates, contribute to defining project timelines, plans and milestones.
* Instruct, assign, and review the work of other team members, including design reviews, code reviews, and test plans/results.
* Mentor and coach other team members and facilitate their development of technical, functional, and industry skills.
* Evaluate new features and produce comprehensive analysis and recommendations.
* Provide 2nd/3rd level ServiceNow support and resolve incidents.
Experience
* Minimum 8 years overall experience in implementing ITIL, Enterprise Service Management, Asset and Configuration Management.
* At least 4 years experience with ServiceNow.
* Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow application development.
* Strong knowledge of JavaScript, web services, JDBC, distributed computing, and object‐oriented methodologies.
* Strong knowledge of UI (HTML5, XML, CSS) and CMS expertise in ServiceNow.
* Design and development experience with RDBMS systems (Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL).
* Familiarity with Unix, Linux, and shell scripting.
* Practical experience with agile methodologies/tools.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate technical solutions into business terms.
* Experience working in multi‐vendor development environments.
* Experience coordinating cross‐functional activities across the organization.
* Experience working with the ServiceNow platform for global customers.
* Experience with performance‐compliant design and sustainable solution architecture.
* Experience with integrations (Web services, REST APIs).
