About the Role
Join the Nurse Bank team and provide essential support across several wards, filling daily service delivery gaps. Your flexibility will be key as you may be rostered to work in :
* G2 and F2 Medical Wards
* F0 Orthopaedic Ward
* G0 Acute Assessment, Stroke and Medical Unit
* General Surgical Unit (GSU)
What You'll Bring
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a medical and / or surgical setting
* Confidence working across multiple specialties and clinical areas
* Current clinical competency with a commitment to delivering high standards of care
Desirable Skills
* Familiarity with QLD Health and / or Mackay HHS
* Knowledge and experience using ieMR
* Currency in BLS, manual handling, infection control, medication management, mandatory reporting, and aggression management
Onboarding Requirements
* ieMR training
* Online induction
* Any additional training requested by Mackay HHS
