A globally recognised technology and advertising business is continuing to scale its connected TV and digital advertising offering across Australia and New Zealand. With proprietary first party viewing data, premium owned inventory and a growing suite of advertising solutions, the business is hiring an experienced Agency Lead to deepen agency partnerships, grow revenue and help shape the next phase of its rapidly expanding advertising division.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and manage senior relationships across agencies and trading teams
* Grow connected TV and digital advertising revenue across Australia and New Zealand
* Develop account plans and business growth strategies for named agency partners
* Structure, negotiate and close strategic agency partnerships
* Build and maintain an active pipeline of commercial opportunities
* Drive quarterly revenue outcomes through strong forecasting and deal management
* Act as a trusted consultant to agencies and advertisers
* Identify growth opportunities through research, data analysis and optimisation
* Partner with internal product, sales and support teams to resolve campaign challenges
* Champion customer needs internally across the broader business
* Provide leadership and guidance to sales executives and solutions teams
* Promote premium video, advanced TV and digital advertising solutions
Desired Skills and Attributes
* 10 plus years of media, agency, trading desk or digital sales experience
* Strong understanding of media agencies and their operating structures
* Proven track record growing spend from agencies and advertisers
* Experience across programmatic advertising, connected TV and premium video
* Strong existing relationships across agency buying and trading teams
* Ability to lead complex negotiations and close high value partnerships
* Strategic thinker with strong commercial judgementConfident communicator who can simplify complex advertising solutions
* Comfortable working in fast paced, evolving and entrepreneurial environments
* Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* High attention to detail and strong follow through
* Experience with platforms such as Adobe, Amazon, Google, The Trade Desk or Yahoo DSP advantageous
* Bachelor's degree preferred, with MBA or advanced qualification viewed favourably
