The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategic healthcare leader to take on the critical role of State Manager, Icon Cancer Centres Queensland. Reporting directly to the CEO, Icon Cancer Centres ANZ, you will hold end-to-end accountability for the operational leadership of radiation oncology and medical oncology/haematology services across the state.

* Drive enterprise-level performance across a complex, multi-site portfolio.
* Lead, align and inspire high-performing teams to deliver exceptional patient care and clinical excellence.
* Champion operational excellence and service integration, ensuring consistency with national strategy and standards.
* Accelerate growth and innovation, strengthening Icon's market leadership and expanding access to world-class cancer care.

Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of cancer care delivery – fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation while upholding Icon's reputation as a leader in oncology services.

This is a permanent, full-time executive position based in Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute detailed business plans in collaboration with Site Managers and the CEO.
* Build and maintain a strong medical workforce across the portfolio.
* Monitor and manage financial performance, ensuring budgets and KPIs are consistently met.
* Identify and lead business development opportunities to drive growth.
* Support Site Managers with operational challenges and foster a high-performance culture.
* Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and service quality.
About You

You are a strategic thinker with a proven track record in healthcare leadership. You thrive in complex, multi-site environments and bring a blend of commercial acumen and clinical understanding. Your ability to influence, negotiate and lead change will set you apart.

Skills & Experience
* Minimum 5 years' experience in senior leadership within a multi-site healthcare organisation.
* Demonstrated success in achieving financial and operational targets.
* Strong business acumen with experience managing P&L and driving growth.
* Deep analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and critical issues.
* Knowledge of cancer care services and private health sector funding models.
* Expertise in workforce planning, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement.
* Proven ability to develop partnerships and create new opportunities.
