The role assists with preparing and serving food under the guidance and support of the Catering Team Leader. An ideal role for those who enjoy cooking in a team environment.Key responsibilities:Meal preparation and service: With guidance and instruction from the Catering Team Leader, Catering Team Members prepare meals according to the planned menu and the number of meals requiredSet up and clean up: With a keen eye for neatness and hygiene, Team Members assist with initial set up, clearing of tables, pack up, wash up and waste disposalManage stocks and storage: Applying high regard for food safety standards, Team Members assist with ensuring food stocks are replenished and within use by dates, and all food items are stored and labelled correctlyQualifications and skills (desired/required):Experience in food preparation, handling and serviceRelevant food handling qualifications as required by local council authoritiesBackground check requirementsBackground checks play an important part in our commitment to being a safe organisation.
