FIFO: 2/2 or 1/1 Roster
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Cook/Cleaner to join our team in the Cooper Basin, South Australia. This is a FIFO role based on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off or 1 week on / 1 week off swing, with flights (from your nearest capital city), accommodation and meals provided. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our camp, providing high-quality meals, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting day-to-day camp needs. The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive, and take pride in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
About the Role
As a Cook / Cleaner, you will be responsible for:
Prepare and serve four daily meals for employees and visitors, including mobile camp orders.
Manage food stock, ensure quality, rotate products, and maintain kitchen hygiene under the Food Safety Program.
Allocate rooms and ensure fresh linen is provided.
Perform laundry duties, clean bathrooms, offices, and management rooms.
Maintain overall cleanliness of the campsite and report any damage or maintenance issues.
Role requirements:
Valid C Class Drivers Licence
Apply First Aid Certificate
National Police Clearance (within last 3 months)
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment
Experience in cooking and food preparation in a commercial or large-scale setting preferred.
