There are firms that say they're "boutique"... and then there are firms that actually operate like one. We are partnering with a highly regarded Gold Coast law firm that has built a strong reputation across property, commercial and business law, working closely with entrepreneurs, developers and established businesses across South East Queensland. This is not a volume-driven environment. It's a relationship-led practice where quality of advice, commercial thinking and long‐term client partnerships genuinely matter.
What's the opportunity? You'll step into a newly created role due to growth, supporting a well‐established practice with consistent workflow across:
* Commercial property transactions (acquisitions, disposals, leasing)
* Business sales & purchases
* Commercial agreements & structuring
* Client advisory across SME and investor clients
* Exposure to disputes and broader commercial matters (depending on experience)
The work is varied, commercially interesting, and client‐facing and not your back‐end drafting all day.
Why this role stands out! Let's be honest - most ads say "great culture" and "hands‐on exposure." This one actually delivers:
* Direct client access – you're not hidden behind layers
* Genuine autonomy – trusted to run matters, not micromanaged
* Commercially focused work – real clients, real decisions
* Gold Coast lifestyle – because balance shouldn't be a buzzword
This firm operates with a tailored, client‐first approach, taking the time to understand each matter rather than pushing volume through the door.
What they're looking for:
* A Lawyer with experience in property and/or commercial law 3‐5 years PQE
* Confident managing files end‐to‐end (or ready to step into this)
* Commercially minded — you understand the why, not just the what
* Someone who enjoys building relationships with clients
* Keen to grow within a firm where your contribution is actually seen
Personality matters here. They want someone who not just brings experience but is switched on, proactive, and genuinely enjoys working with clients and co‐workers.
In short — no egos, no bureaucracy, just good lawyers doing good work.
If you're a Lawyer who wants to step away from rigid structures and into a firm where you can actually add value, this is worth a conversation.
