Job Overview
At St Matthew's, we've been proudly supporting families in the Loganholme Parish and St Matthew's Catholic Primary School community for over 20 years. Our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program offers a warm, welcoming space before school, after school, and during school vacations for up to 105 children.
We're passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment where kids can learn, play, and grow. Our program is carefully designed to meet each child's age, skills, interests, and abilities—helping them build confidence, creativity, and friendships.
As part of our experienced team, you'll help foster a community that values diversity, respects individuality, and celebrates the unique spirituality and contributions of every child.
We're looking for a Casual Educator to join our team.
Responsibilities
* Providing nurturing care for children.
* Ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment.
* Creating fun recreational and educational experiences that are inclusive for all.
* Maintaining positive working relationships with all team members.
* Working collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.

Job Requirements
* Experience with children and qualifications in Children's Services (or ACECQA equivalent) would be beneficial.
* Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
* A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment.
* Effective workplace communication skills.
